Who is responsible
Daniel Lengyel is responsible for personal data on Baccarat Canada (baccaratca.com). Send questions about personal data to daniel@baccaratca.com.
When you read the site
The site consists of static pages served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). To show the pages and protect the site against overload and attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as IP address, browser, requested address and time.
We count page views with Umami, an analytics tool that sets no cookies. It records the page, the referring page, the browser, the device type and the country. The site has no ad scripts and no third-party embeds. If Cloudflare shows a security check for a suspicious request, a technical cookie may be set for that check only.
When you click a link marked Ad
Links to the casinos we work with go through an address on this site that starts with /go/. We count the click (time, page and link), and Cloudflare redirects you to the partner's link. The link to the partner carries a click ID so that the partner's report can be matched to the click. The partner (the casino or its affiliate program) then registers the click, and the partner's privacy policy applies.
If you open an account or make a deposit, the partner may tell us that it happened through a link from this site, with details such as the country and a tracking code. We use this to see which links lead to new accounts. We never receive your name or contact details.
When you write to us
If you write to daniel@baccaratca.com, we use your email address and what you write to reply to you. Contacting us is optional, but we need your email address to reply.
Who receives the data
The data is handled by Cloudflare (delivery and protection of the pages), by Umami (page views) and by our email provider (email to daniel@baccaratca.com). If you use a link marked Ad, the partner collects data about the click itself; apart from the click ID we do not send the partner anything about you.
What you can ask us
You can ask us which data about you we hold and have it corrected or deleted. Write to daniel@baccaratca.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may be able to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
